Chasing After God's Best

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33

Life is full of choices. Some are big, some small, but all with the potential to shape our future. And in a world that offers so many options and opportunities, it can be tempting to settle for what seems good in the moment, rather than holding out for God's best.

But I want you to understand something today, God's best is always worth pursuing. It's worth waiting for. It's worth sacrificing for. Because when we chase after God's best, we're not just settling for what's good enough; we're choosing His perfect plan and purpose for our lives.

So, what does it mean to chase after God's best? It means seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness in every area of our lives—our relationships, our careers, our dreams, and our desires. It means surrendering our own plans and ambitions to His will, trusting that His ways are higher, His timing is perfect, and His best is far greater than anything we could ever imagine.

Chasing after God's best isn't always easy. It requires faith, patience, and perseverance. It means saying no to good things in order to say yes to God's best. It means trusting that He knows what's best for us, even when His plan seems to defy our own expectations or desires.

The good news is when we choose God's best, we will never regret it. His plans are always for our good and His glory. His best for us far surpasses anything we could ever achieve on our own. And when we look back on our lives, we'll see that every sacrifice, every struggle, every step of faith was worth it in the end.

I want to encourage you today to chase after God's best in every area of your life. Don't settle for what seems good in the moment. Don't compromise your convictions or your calling for the sake of convenience or comfort. Instead, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and watch as He fulfills His promises and leads you into His perfect plan for your life.

God's best is always worth pursuing. It's worth waiting for. It's worth sacrificing for. And when you choose His best, you'll never regret it.
