Going All In

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." – Ephesians 6:12

The battle you’re facing isn’t just physical. It’s spiritual. And it’s happening in the heavenly places. The devil is fine with you coming to church, singing the songs, and even speaking all the right “Christian” words. He’s fine with you having all the outward signs of faith as long as you’re just going through the motions.

If all you do is check the box of church attendance on Sunday, but you’re not walking with Jesus every day, the enemy isn’t threatened by you. But the moment you go all in, the moment you decide your faith is more than a weekly routine, everything changes.

When your worship on Sunday is just the overflow of what you’ve been doing all week, that’s when the devil takes notice. When you’ve been praying, reading the Word, and pursuing God’s presence every day, you’re stepping into something powerful. You’re walking in purpose. You’re walking in power. And that’s when the attacks start coming.

You might wonder how to avoid the opposition. The answer is simple. Just be a casual, carnal Christian. Keep one foot in the church and one foot in the world. As long as you stay lukewarm, the devil won’t bother you. He’s not threatened by people who are comfortable in their spiritual walk. He’s threatened by those who are hungry for more of God.

Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that the real battle is against the forces of evil in the heavenly places. The enemy wants to keep you distracted, discouraged, and disconnected from your purpose. But when you decide you’re not going to be defined by your past, when you start walking in the future God has written for you, the enemy will try to stop you.

But the truth is, God’s power is greater. And when you walk in His power, nothing the enemy throws at you can take you down. So keep pressing forward. Keep seeking Jesus daily. Keep going all in. Because the God who called you is the same God who will see you through.

Love this Pastor Ed. I talked to a lot of people who are having serious problems and trying to get better. Most of them aren’t even close to getting better. I tried a lot of other ways having some of the same problems they have and nothing ever worked except being all in. Hardly one of them are really willing to do something like that. I am so glad I found our church. Or landed there with Gods grace. Finally I have found people just like me in that aspect. All in for God and actually mean it and do it.

This was good timing. The spiritual warfare is real. The moment I decided to go from being lukewarm to being on fire for Christ, everything changed. I started having to rebuke demons in my dreams because they did not like my passion for Jesus. I am very thankful for the authority we have in Christ, but more importantly, I am thankful for the salvation that Jesus gives us.
