God Fills the Gaps

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

There is something powerful that happens when you give God everything you have. Not just a little. Not just what feels comfortable. Everything. Your time, your energy, your money, your talents. It’s easy to think, what if I give it all and it’s not enough? What if I pour myself out and still fall short?

But here’s the truth you need to hold on to: when you bring your best, God meets you right where you run out. He steps in and fills the spaces you cannot fill. That’s what He does.
Whether it’s your finances, your strength, your effort, or your faith, your job is not to be perfect or unlimited. Your job is to be faithful. To bring everything you have to the table and trust that when it’s not enough, God’s power takes over.

Think of the story of the boy with five loaves and two fish. Was that enough to feed thousands? No way. But he gave what he had, and Jesus multiplied it beyond anything that boy could have imagined. God is still doing that today. He specializes in taking your “not enough” and turning it into more than enough.

It is not about how much you have. It’s about whether you are willing to offer it fully. When you hold back out of fear that it won’t be enough, you miss the chance to watch God show up in the gaps. But when you give everything you have, you invite Him to step in and do what only He can do.

So whatever it is today—your energy, your money, your time, your effort—bring it all to God. Don’t worry about whether it feels like “enough.” Trust that He sees your faithfulness, and He is ready to exceed what you can’t finish. That’s His promise. Where you fall short, He overwhelms. Where you are limited, He is limitless.
Give it all and watch Him make you glad you did.
