The Final Word Still Stands

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" - 2 Timothy 3:16

We live in a time when people are constantly questioning truth. What used to be considered solid and unshakable is now often labeled outdated or narrow. Everyone seems to have a platform and a voice, and in the middle of all the noise, God's Word is still quietly and confidently standing. It hasn't changed. It doesn't need an update. It doesn't evolve with culture. It remains.

Paul was in prison when he wrote these words to Timothy. He was nearing the end of his life, and yet the advice he gave wasn’t to go find new wisdom, read new ideas, or follow the popular teachers of the day. He pointed Timothy back to the same Scriptures that had guided his life from the beginning. Why? Because the Word of God is always enough.

You may be searching for direction or clarity right now. Maybe you’re wondering where to go next, what decision to make, or how to handle the situation you’re in. Before you turn to everyone else, have you opened the Bible? Before you scroll for answers or vent to friends, have you taken the time to ask God to speak to you through His Word?

The world offers opinions. God offers truth. The world changes every day. God's Word never will. It is still the final authority. It is still alive and active. It still calls sin what it is, but it also still offers hope, grace, healing, and freedom.

If God’s Word is truly breathed out by Him, then you can trust it with your life. No matter what voices surround you today, one thing is certain. The final word still stands. And it will always be enough.

A WORD!!! Whew!

Newhomevilma@gmail.com - October 1st, 2025 at 6:02am

Hi Pastor Ed,

n

nI just want to thank you for encouraging us to read directly from the Bible this past week. When I first got saved, I used to spend hours every day in the Word. But after being hurt by church experiences and people, I gradually stopped and began relying on Google and now even chat apps instead.

n

nLast week, God woke me up and led me to gather all my Bibles around the house. As I opened them, I found my old notes scattered throughout, and even discovered cards from “la lotería “ tucked inside one of my main Bibles, which was so strange. In that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit reveal that there had been spiritual forces and even witchcraft trying to keep me from opening His Word.

n

nYour reminder about reading straight from the actual book really pushed me to start again. I’ve now committed to reading it at least an hour a day, and I’m praying for God to rekindle in me that same hunger and desire for deeper revelation from His Word.

n

nThank you again for speaking truth and for encouraging us to return to Scripture itself.

nVilma
