The Day It All Ends

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away" - Revelation 21:4

There will be a day. A real day. A day not imagined or hoped for in theory, but a day that will truly come when everything broken is made whole. A day when all the pain you have carried in silence will be lifted. A day when grief is no longer a weight on your chest. A day when sorrow and suffering lose their grip forever. This is not some distant wishful thought. It is the promise of God.

Right now, we live in a world that is filled with loss, disappointment, and unanswered questions. You may walk through days where joy feels out of reach and hope feels like it is hanging on by a thread. But your story will not end in pain. The brokenness of this world does not get the final word.

There is a day coming when God Himself will wipe every tear from your eyes. Not an angel. Not a stranger. The God who made you, who sees you, who has walked with you every step of the way, will kneel beside you and remove your pain with His own hand.

The beauty of that promise is that it gives purpose to your pain today. It does not mean your sorrow is good or easy. But it does mean that none of it is wasted. And it does mean that your pain has an expiration date.

There is a finish line. A day where death, mourning, crying, and pain will not just fade away, they will be gone forever. That day is coming because Jesus made it possible. Because He conquered death, you will one day live in a place where death is no longer even a word.

Whatever you are walking through today, remember that there is more ahead than what you are going through right now. This world is not your home. You are headed somewhere better. And when you get there, it will be worth it all.

Thank you God, for the blessings in Pastor Ed and CBC.
