God Works Through the Details

“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.” - Psalm 138:8

Sometimes life feels random. The timing seems off, the path feels unclear, and the pieces just do not seem to fit together. You wonder if God sees what you are walking through or if the setbacks and delays are signs that you have somehow missed His plan. But nothing in your life is outside His control. The same God who holds galaxies together is holding your story together, one detail at a time.

God is a master of timing. He knows how to weave small moments into life-changing results. The phone call you almost ignored, the opportunity that came out of nowhere, or the relationship that ended before you understood why can all serve a greater purpose. Even the disappointments and detours are part of His design. What looks like wasted time may actually be the very preparation you need for what comes next.

We tend to notice God most in the big breakthroughs, but He often does His greatest work in the unnoticed details. While you are waiting, He is arranging. While you are praying, He is preparing. Nothing slips through His hands. There are no accidents in a life surrendered to Him, only assignments that have not yet been revealed.

You may not see the full picture right now, and that is okay. Faith is not knowing every step. It is trusting that the One leading you never loses His place. One day, you will look back and realize that what felt like a coincidence was careful coordination.

Every detail was leading you exactly where you needed to be. God is not just present in the major moments. He is at work in the smallest ones too, turning every thread into part of a masterpiece. Even when you cannot see it yet, He is working all things together for your good.
