The Paradox of Surrender
"For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” - Matthew 16:25
The greatest act of freedom is surrender. It seems like a contradiction, but when you surrender your life to God, you find the life you were always meant to live. When you stop trying to control everything, you discover the peace that comes from trusting the One who is in control.
Surrender is not giving up; it's giving over. It's taking your hands off the wheel and letting God drive. It's admitting that your way hasn't been working and asking God to show you His way. It's trading your limited perspective for His unlimited wisdom.
Many people resist surrender because they think it means becoming a doormat or losing their personality. But surrender to God actually makes you more yourself than you've ever been. It frees you from trying to be someone you're not and allows you to become who God created you to be.
When I finally surrendered my life completely to God, I felt like I could breathe again. I had been carrying the weight of trying to control outcomes that were never mine to control. Surrender didn't make me weak; it made me free to be strong in God's strength instead of struggling in my own.

Lord, I surrender my life completely to You. I give You my plans, my dreams, my fears, and my future. Help me to trust You more than I trust myself. I choose to lose my life in You so that I can find the abundant life You have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

nIsaiah 55:8-9 NLT. The Lord created me out of His unconditional love and gave me purpose. He knows my journey because He is the author of my journey. It took a while for me to understand this. But surrendering unto the Lord is living!!!!

Lord at one time it was hard to surrender to you because of my pride. But now since I have given myself unto you to serve you. You have used me to lead people to Christ once a broken vessel now helping the homeless thank you Lord Jesus.

I have never been so free as I am today. I kept trying to run my life. I worked so hard that my body completely collapsed. I have spent the last 25 years living with disability. Now that I can’t take control of my, I have finally learned that I never had it in the first place. Living in surrender to my Lord has brought the greatest blessings into my life. I’m so thankful that the Lord used my inability to convince me that He truly is my strength when I am weak. All glory to God! ?✝️?
