Spiritual Gifts
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” - 1 Peter 4:10-11
Did you know that God gives each of His children spiritual gifts? We talk a lot about living out God’s purpose for our lives. We know that God has a calling for each of us and that our purpose is to live out that calling and live the best version of our life.
The best version of our life is the one God created us to live. But God didn’t just give us a purpose and a plan. He gave us GIFTS to help us achieve His plan and purpose. See, as followers of Christ, each of us has been given spiritual gifts that are unique to us and to the spiritual journey God is leading us on.
1 Peter 4:10-11 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Did you even know that God gives spiritual gifts? He does. And He has given you gifts that He wants you to use to live out His plan and purpose for your life.
If you already know what your gifts are, how are you using them for God’s Kingdom?
And if you don’t know what they are, spend some time in prayer asking God to reveal your spiritual gifts and how He wants you to use them for His glory.
