Closed Doors

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. - Isaiah 43:2

Have you ever experienced a time in your life when God closed the door? Maybe it was a job opportunity that fell through, a relationship that ended unexpectedly, or a dream that didn't come to fruition. In those moments, it's easy to feel disappointed, frustrated, or even confused. But what if I told you that sometimes, closed doors are a sign of God's love and guidance?

You see, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. He sees the bigger picture, the end from the beginning, and He knows what's best for us—even when we can't see it ourselves.

When God closes a door in your life, it's not because He's punishing you or withholding good things from you. It's because He has something better in store, something that you may not have even imagined yet.

Think about it, if God opened every door you wanted, you might never experience the growth, the blessings, or the adventures that come from walking through the doors He has ordained for you. Sometimes, closed doors are a gentle redirection, guiding you toward His perfect will and purpose for your life.

And even in the midst of disappointment, we can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us. He promises to never leave us or forsake us, even when we're walking through the darkest valleys or facing the most daunting challenges.

So, if you're facing a closed door today, take heart. Trust that God knows what He's doing, and that His plans for you are always for your good and His glory. Instead of dwelling on what might have been, look ahead with hope and expectancy, knowing that God has something amazing waiting for you on the other side of that closed door.

And as you walk through life's ups and downs, remember the words of Isaiah 43:2: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." With God by your side, you can face any closed door with confidence, knowing that He is leading you toward a future filled with hope and promise.
