A Mother's Impact
"Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." – Proverbs 31:28
Motherhood is one of the most powerful callings God has ever given. It’s more than just a title. It’s a ministry. It’s a mission. It’s a life of pouring yourself out day after day, even when it feels like no one notices. But God sees you.
Maybe you’re a mom in the thick of raising little ones, feeling exhausted and wondering if you’re getting anything right. Or maybe you’re a mother to grown kids who have lives of their own, and you’re praying they’re making the right choices. Wherever you are on this journey, your impact matters more than you realize.
The world will tell you that success is found in wealth, status, and achievements. But God measures success by faithfulness. Every prayer you pray over your children, every late night you stay up comforting them, every moment you spend teaching them about Jesus, it all matters. It all counts. And even when it feels like you’re failing, God is still working.
Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” But here’s the thing. Those words aren’t written for perfect moms. They’re written for faithful moms. The kind of moms who get up every day and choose to keep loving, keep serving, and keep trusting God even when it’s hard.
Motherhood isn’t about being flawless. It’s about being faithful. It’s about trusting God to fill the gaps where you fall short. It’s about surrendering your children to Him and believing that He loves them even more than you do.
So today, take a deep breath and know that God sees your faithfulness. He sees your sacrifices. He sees the love you pour out every single day. And He is with you. Keep pressing forward, because your impact is greater than you could ever imagine.

It’s hard to see the impact of parenting sometimes. You have to just trust that doing the right thing is the right thing. It’s not until later you get to see the results. God bless all the moms out there giving it all and making sacrifices. And thank you for the excellent Saturday service I got to watch online while I’m out of town working. Amazing job Stephanie. We might have a new lead pastor! (Joking Pastor Ed) but really that was one of the best yet.
