Failure Is Not Final
“For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.” – Proverbs 24:16
Maybe you dropped the ball. Maybe you made a mistake so loud it still echoes in your mind. You failed. And the voice in your head won’t stop reminding you. It tells you you’re disqualified. It tells you that you’re done. But that voice is lying. Because failure isn’t final. Not when God is still writing your story.
God never required perfection from you. He’s not surprised by your failure. In fact, He already accounted for it. What He is looking for is a heart that won’t quit. A heart that comes back, even after it has fallen. A heart that trusts He is still working, even when everything feels broken. You are not defined by your lowest moment. You are defined by who you belong to.
When you bring your failure to God, He does not throw it back in your face. He covers it with grace. He uses it to shape you, teach you, and draw you closer. The very thing that the enemy tried to use to bury you, God can use to build you. That failure you thought disqualified you might be the story that gives someone else the hope to get back up.
There is no such thing as a wasted failure when it’s placed in the hands of God. He redeems. He restores. He rewrites. If you are willing to let Him work, He will take your worst moment and show you how it fits into the bigger picture of who you are becoming.
It's time to get back up. Do not stay stuck in what happened. Do not let shame win. God hasn’t turned His back on you. He is still for you. Still with you. Still working in ways you cannot yet see. Your story is not over. Your mistake is not your ending. Because with God, failure is never final.

I don’t like failing. I really don’t like it. What I have seen though is that failure is the place where God is easiest to see. He has shown me time and time again how amazing He really is. Still though failure does not excite me. Forgot something important this morning so this is right on time.
