The Mystery Revealed

"To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" - Colossians 1:27

There is something powerful about uncovering a mystery. A puzzle solved. A question answered. The lights come on, and suddenly what felt far-off or confusing begins to make perfect sense. Paul uses that very word to describe the gospel message, calling it a mystery. For generations, the fullness of God’s plan was not completely clear. But now, through Jesus, the mystery has been revealed, and the secret is this: Christ is in you.

That truth should never get old. The very power and presence of Jesus, not just beside you or ahead of you, but inside you. That is the heart of the gospel. The mystery is not about religion or rituals. It is not about something you have to earn. It is not about climbing your way up to God. It is about a Savior who stepped down into your world and chose to make His home within you.

Paul was writing these words while in prison. His life was filled with hardship, pain, and persecution. But he still could not get over this one truth, Christ in me. That reality gave him the strength to suffer well, endure hardship, and keep preaching the gospel even when it cost him everything.

What would change if you woke up every day with that same mystery in view? If you lived every moment remembering the glory of Christ in you? You are not empty. You are not powerless. You are not alone. You carry the very Spirit of Jesus, and that is not just a distant truth. It is a present power.

Let that mystery settle deep into your heart. Because once it does, your confidence will rise, your gratitude will grow, and you will begin to live out your purpose in ways you never imagined. The mystery has been revealed. And that mystery changes everything.
