There’s More Ahead Than What You See Right Now
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." - Ephesians 3:20
Right now, you may feel stuck in a season you don’t understand. Maybe it’s a season of waiting, disappointment, uncertainty, or frustration. Maybe you’re struggling to believe that anything good can come from where you are. It’s hard to lift your head when the view in front of you feels blocked by problems, delays, or pain.
But there is more ahead than what you see right now. You see your current circumstances. God sees the whole picture. You see the roadblock. God sees the open doors coming. You see the pain. God sees the healing and growth He’s working behind the scenes.
Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is able to do far more than all we ask, think, or imagine. That means your greatest vision for your life still falls short of the incredible things God has planned for you. You don’t have to see it to trust Him, you just have to believe that He is working even when you cannot see the full story.
If you’re in a tough season, don’t let it define you. It’s just one chapter, not the whole book. If you’re in a waiting season, don’t assume God has forgotten you. His silence is not His absence. And if you’re in a fruitful season, don’t believe this is the final peak; there’s still more growth and blessing ahead.
God’s story for your life is unfolding, piece by piece, season by season. He knows the dreams you’ve tucked away. He knows the prayers you’ve whispered through tears. He knows the weight you’re carrying today. And He is not finished writing your story.
So keep walking in faith. Keep showing up, even when it feels small. Keep trusting Him with what’s next. Your current view is limited, but His is unlimited. And when the time is right, you’ll step into a season that reminds you, God was doing more than I ever imagined.
There’s more ahead than what you see right now. Hold on and let Him lead you there.

Thank you Pastor Ed. I’m trusting God through the storm right now. I didn’t raise my hand because I’m not going through an 11:59pm moment. I’ve had those and they are much worse. Today I’m living in the 12:01am because I’m trusting in God for it. It must be big because as soon as I started really moving in His direction I started getting pushback and attacks. I really appreciate the service and the devotionals though because it has helped me to keep my nose on the grindstone trusting that God is delivering that 12:01 right now and it’s just a matter of time until I get to see it.
