You Are Placed on Purpose, for a Purpose
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” - 1 Peter 4:10
You are not where you are by accident. You may not love where you are. You may not have planned to be where you are. But God did. There is purpose in your placement. Whether you're on a job site, in a classroom, stuck in a hospital bed, raising kids, waiting on a door to open, or feeling like nothing is happening, there is divine intention in the middle of it.
So many people spend their lives waiting for the next thing, never realizing that God wants to use them right where they are. You may be praying for a bigger platform, more influence, or the next opportunity, and God is saying, “Be faithful where I’ve placed you.” It’s not about what you lack. It’s about what you already have in your hands. The gifts you’ve been given, the people around you, and the position you are in right now are all tools for God’s purpose.
The enemy would love for you to believe that your life doesn’t matter or that your situation is too insignificant to make an impact. But if you are breathing, you are carrying the mission of Jesus into that space. You are a light in a dark place, a vessel for the Gospel in your environment. You are not random. You are strategic. You are placed on purpose, for a purpose.
Ask yourself today, what can I do with where I am? How can I represent Christ today with what I’ve got? Start seeing your job, your home, your neighborhood, even your struggle, as a place where God wants to work through you.
You don’t have to wait for some “bigger” calling. Your calling is to be faithful now. Obedience in this season is what unlocks doors in the next one. And the more you realize your purpose in this moment, the more fulfilled and effective you will be in every one after.

Thank you Pastor Ed and good morning. I’ve had a little practice over the years trying to be of service and recently I noticed something. That story you were talking about the past few days isn’t just something I tell. It’s made me into something useful. I had an experience with someone a week or two ago. I didn’t try. Not sure why but hell, I was just trying to make it through my day you know. Of course that morning there was a more than usual level of sincerity and desperation reaching out to God. I didn’t try to push any motives or direction on anyone. Just myself and was really honest. It was never more effective in my life. Within an hour I was at a hospital with this person with plans to move forward in the right direction. It showed me something special. I don’t need to prepare for something I’m already prepared for. I don’t have to try to be something I already am. I guess some people call it staying out of the way but that didn’t seem to fit exactly. I need God just as much as that person does and to be truthful I feel like I made a friend. Love you guys
Amazing this is confirmation I needed this fr glory be to God ?
Thank you, for this amazing message!
About four years ago God sent me to a deliverance Tabernacle. I've always known why. My gifts and purpose are before me and I know. Gods glory.
