God Is Calling You to Bold Obedience
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" - Joshua 1:9
Most people want the will of God without the risk of obedience. But there is no such thing as safe faith. God's calling rarely fits neatly into your comfort zone. Bold obedience is not reckless, but it is rarely easy. It might ask you to forgive someone who hurt you. To stay put when you want to run. To leave comfort when you'd rather stay. To give when it feels like you have nothing extra.
All throughout Scripture, God calls ordinary people into moments of extraordinary obedience. These were not people who had full clarity when they obeyed, but they did have confidence in the One who called them.
That is the difference maker. Bold obedience is not about your confidence in yourself; it is about your confidence in God. It is trusting that His voice is worth following, even when the destination is unknown. It is saying yes before you have all the details. And it is that kind of obedience that unlocks the next level of what God wants to do in your life.
Maybe what feels like a barrier in your life is really just a moment where bold obedience is required. Maybe your next step is not waiting for more confirmation, but waiting for more courage. Obedience is not always glamorous, and it will not always be applauded, but it will always be worth it.
When God says move, move. When He says speak, speak. When He says give, give. His calling is not for the faint of heart, but it is for those who trust His heart. Will you play it safe, or will you walk in bold obedience?

Obedience is something we all have to learn when we first get saved. Its not easy. But if you trust in the Lord and the Holy Spirit your path will be alot more lighter then. Trying to do it your own way. Just stop look and listen and before you know it all you can see the wide open path. Trust me I know I have there myself way to many time after I got saved served God then walked away in 1992. For 20 years I was not obedient until I rededicated my life to the Lord in 2016. The scares of disobedience are there but they just remind me of what its like to disobey to beinging obedient. I'm the happiest man in the world because Jesus lifted me. God Bless Ya'll.
I like when you said the calling is not for the faint at heart. It’s not because when God tells you to do something it’s a part of his purpose and plan. It took me a long time to understand this. God always knows what best even if we think we do. It’s better to be in his will than outside of his will. Only hurting yourself as well as others. Trust and obey are cousins in the Lord!!
Sometimes doing the right thing can seem opposite to what would logically make sense to do in the moment. But He has never failed me. Countless times I have chosen to do what He says even though it seemed crazy at the time. Without fail it has not only saved my life literally but also turned into something even greater than I could have imagined. Not even exaggerating.
I’m so grateful for these daily messages of hope and encouragement pastor, you just helped encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and do something positive tomorrow that I knew I should do but made every excuse not to do. Thank you
