Impossible Doesn’t Exist

“For nothing will be impossible with God.” - Luke 1:37

When the angel told Mary she would give birth to the Son of God, her mind must have flooded with questions. She was young, unmarried, and from a small town with no importance. Everything about that promise seemed impossible. Yet the angel didn’t offer her a detailed explanation. He simply gave her a truth that would carry her through the unknown: nothing is impossible with God.

Those words have echoed through generations, reminding us that God’s power is not limited by what makes sense. He spoke the universe into existence, parted seas, healed the blind, and raised the dead. The same God who performed miracles in Scripture still works miracles today. He restores what seems too broken to repair. He brings peace to hearts that have been shattered by loss. He saves marriages that feel beyond hope. He changes people whom others have already given up on.

We often look at our circumstances and decide what God can or cannot do based on how possible it looks to us. But faith begins where our understanding ends. God does His best work in places that look hopeless to human eyes. When we stop trying to control every outcome and simply trust His power, we make room for Him to move.

Maybe you are standing in front of a situation that feels impossible. You’ve prayed, waited, and nothing seems to change. Remember Mary’s story. She didn’t know how God would do what He promised, but she believed He would. The same God who brought the Savior into the world through a virgin’s womb is still writing stories that defy explanation. Don’t let logic limit your faith. Impossible doesn’t exist with God. What looks like a dead end to you might just be the starting point of a miracle.
