Time Will Run Out

“Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven an- gels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels was completed.” (Revelation 15:6-8 )

If you have studied God’s Word at all, you know He is a gracious and merciful God. He often does not give us what we deserve, but gives so much more. He is a loving God who wants the best for us. And when we mess up time and time again, He remains patient because He wants us to turn things around. Specifically, He wants us to turn to Him and allow Him to lead our lives. And while He remains patient for a while, there will come a point when time will run out.

What we find during the seven years of tribulation is that God is still giving grace and mercy. It is a principle known as general grace. This is when people shake their fists at God, yet He still allows them to breathe His air while they blaspheme His name. They can act like this, and still drink His water, eat His food, and live on His planet. But then the moment of judgment of the seven plagues will be poured out, cutting off the vine of the earth and the time for those who have rejected God will run out.

No matter who you are, there will come a point when time runs out. Whether it is through death, or you live through the tribulation and reach this point, either way, there is a “final call” so to speak of choosing Jesus. If you are a believer, we know death is not the end, but just a doorway to something greater.

But if you are not a believer, you must understand there will come a time when you cannot choose Jesus anymore. Your time will run out. If you have delayed giving your life to Him, do not do so for a second longer. You never know when your final breath is. It is by grace we are still breathing. Give your life to Jesus NOW, because there will be a point when time will run out.
