T.H.I.N.K.

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." - Philippians 4:8

Have you ever caught yourself believing something about yourself that wasn’t even true? Maybe it was a passing comment someone made, a lie whispered by insecurity, or a thought that took root so deeply you started to live as if it was reality. Without even realizing it, you accept things as truth that God never spoke over you.

But what if, before you let a thought take control, you stopped and asked, “Is this even worth believing?” Instead of just accepting whatever comes to mind, what if you ran it through a filter? That’s where T.H.I.N.K. comes in. Before you let something settle in your heart, ask yourself:

Is it True?
Does this thought align with what God says about you, or is it just something you feel in the moment? Feelings come and go, but the truth remains. God’s word should always be the foundation of what you believe about yourself.

Is it Honest?
Are you seeing the full picture, or are you twisting reality to fit your fears? Imposter syndrome thrives on dishonesty, making you believe you’re not enough, even when all evidence says otherwise. Be honest about what God has done in you.

Is it Inspiring?
Does this thought push you closer to God and His calling, or does it make you shrink back in fear? The enemy wants you stuck, afraid, and ineffective. But God’s truth gives life, not paralysis.

Is it Necessary?
Some thoughts don’t even deserve space in your mind. If it’s not leading you toward God’s purpose, why entertain it? Stop rehearsing old lies and start renewing your mind with what actually matters.

Is it Kind?
Would you say this to someone else? If not, why say it to yourself? God doesn’t speak to you with shame or condemnation. His voice is firm, but it’s always filled with grace.

You have the power to filter what you believe. Just because a thought shows up doesn’t mean it deserves to stay. The next time doubt, fear, or insecurity creep in, take a moment and T.H.I.N.K. If it doesn’t align with God’s truth, let it go.
