Stop Living the Lies

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." - Ephesians 6:10-11

There is a real enemy who is after you. Not just to frustrate you, not just to make life difficult, but to destroy you. His goal isn’t just to disrupt God’s plan for your life, it’s to completely nullify your impact. He doesn’t just want to slow you down, he wants to take you out. The battle you face isn’t just physical or circumstantial; it’s spiritual. And one of the biggest battlegrounds? Your mind.

Too often, the war isn’t just coming from the outside, it’s happening within you. If you’re honest, you might be your own worst enemy. The voice that tears you down, that tells you you’re not enough, that whispers doubt into your calling? That voice isn’t from God. But for some reason, we’re quicker to believe the lies of the enemy than the truth of our Creator.

God has already declared something over your life: You are appointed. You are chosen. You are destined. But instead of walking in that truth, you might find yourself faking it, trying to play the part, hoping that one day you’ll finally feel like you belong. The world tells you, fake it till you make it. But here’s the problem—what if you always feel fake? What if you never feel like you’re going to make it? Pretending your way through life isn’t the answer.

The only way to silence the lies is to stand in the truth. This isn’t about self-confidence; it’s about God-confidence. When you start believing what He says about you, the lies lose their grip. You don’t have to prove yourself, earn your worth, or keep up appearances. God has already established your worth, and He has already equipped you for what He’s called you to do.

So stop living the lies. Stop letting fear, doubt, and insecurity define your path. The enemy wants you to believe that you’re not enough, that you’re too weak, too flawed, too unworthy. But God says otherwise. Step into His truth today and walk in the confidence that comes from knowing you are chosen, called, and fully equipped. The battle may be real, but victory is already yours in Christ.
