God Put You Here
"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ." - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
There is something I want you to understand today as you read this: You didn’t just stumble into where you are today. You didn’t make the team, land the job, build the business, or step into success by luck or chance. God positioned you. He placed you exactly where you are for a reason, and there’s legacy attached to your life that goes far beyond anything you could accomplish on your own.
But here’s the challenge—you can’t doubt what God has spoken over you. Too often, we struggle to believe in the calling God has placed on our lives. We let our circumstances, emotions, and self-doubt dictate our identity instead of standing firm in what He has already declared. When your value is tied to accomplishments, approval, or outside validation, you’ll find yourself on a constant emotional roller coaster, rising when things go well and crashing when they don’t.
That’s why Scripture reminds us to take every thought captive. The battle isn’t just about your job, your title, or your success. It’s about what you believe about yourself and about God. The enemy wants you to believe that you’re not enough, that you don’t deserve to be where you are, and that your worth is measured by what you achieve. But God’s truth destroys those lies.
You are not defined by your circumstances. Your value is not dependent on how others see you. God has called you, equipped you, and placed you exactly where you are for a purpose. The success you experience isn’t random. It’s the result of His hand on your life. When you walk in that truth, you stop chasing approval and start living in confidence.
Embrace the fact that God has positioned you. Stop doubting what He’s spoken over you. Stop questioning whether you deserve it. Stand firm in the identity He has given you, knowing that your worth isn’t in what you do but in who He is.

Sometimes I have to remember who I am talking to. It’s the same God who ive known my whole life. The one I’ve talked to as my best friend during the hard times. The good times, the confusing times. The one who understands. The one who loves me unconditionally. I read the Bible a lot. But there is so much misunderstanding that can take place if I’m not careful. There’s a scripture that says probably one of the most important things for me:
n
n“You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.”
nJohn 5:39-40 NIV

nActually that whole chapter is great.
