Waiting on Your Breakthrough
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:31
Are you waiting for a breakthrough in your life? Waiting for a breakthrough can be one of the most challenging seasons in our lives. It's a time of uncertainty, longing, and trusting in God's timing even when it seems like our prayers are going unanswered.
Yet, in the waiting, there is hope. There is the assurance that God is at work behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail according to His perfect plan. And while we may not see it or understand it in the moment, His timing is always perfect, and His power is limitless.
Don’t forget the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. After being sold into slavery by his brothers and enduring years of trials and setbacks, Joseph remained faithful to God, trusting in His promises even when it seemed like his dreams would never come to fruition. But in the fullness of time, God brought about a breakthrough that exceeded Joseph's wildest imagination. He elevated Joseph to a position of authority in Egypt, using him to save countless lives during a time of famine and reunite him with his family.
In our own lives, we may face seasons of waiting—waiting for healing, for provision, for reconciliation, or for a breakthrough in some other area. It's in these moments that we're called to lean into God's promises, to hold fast to His word, and to trust in His faithfulness.
As we wait, let us not grow weary or lose heart. Instead, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, knowing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. He is the God of breakthroughs, the One who can turn our mourning into dancing, our sorrow into joy.
As you wait for your breakthrough, take heart and be encouraged. Trust in the power of God and the promises of His word. And remember that as you hope in the Lord, He will renew your strength. You will soar on wings like eagles, you will run and not grow weary, you will walk and not be faint. Your breakthrough is coming—in His perfect time and according to His perfect plan.

Wow! Yesterday I had the verse come to mind two or more father in my name I am there with them. Thinking about the service recently. And in agreement… then boom. Verse of the day. And while I’m working my overnight shift in the very cold pouring down rain something about the song graves into gardens catches my attention for some reason and so I’m singing. Then there you go in your blog today. Mourning to dancing. Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word from the mouth of God. It certainly feels like that. I sure do love you guys. Thank you for believing for us all. For the breakthrough. For Gods promises. I believe for it too.
God is great amen
