The Ultimate Creator
“Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.” (Revelation 21:1-2)
After the tribulation, God will create a new heaven on earth. Revelation 21:1-2 says, “Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God...” So after all the destruction Satan and the anti-Christ will bring, God will create something new.
The beauty of God is that His character is so consistent, unlike humans who are here today, gone tomorrow. We like one trend today, and next month it will be something else. As kids we act one way, and as we grow older we change. God never changes. He is who He is, and He stays the same. Because of this, we see how God acts and how His actions are consistent over the course of history. He is the same now as He was 2,000 years ago.
Just as God will recreate a new earth after the destruction of Satan, He will recreate your life when destruction sets in. When you go through tough times, trials, and tribulations in your life that make you feel like your life is fallen a part, hang on, because God will create a new start for you. Revelation 21:2 says, “I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem... prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.”
God will prepare the new Holy City for us, and it will be as beautiful as a bride for her husband. Think about the love of Jesus. After all He has done for us, Jesus died so that we could see the gates of heaven. And God once again, “one ups” Himself as He creates a beautiful new world far beyond anything we can imagine.
God is the ultimate Creator. And no matter what kind of mess you have created, God will create a new start for you!
