Without Cost
“He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.” (Revelation 21:6)
What if the things you wanted most in life were free? How awesome would that be? You could buy a new house, “without cost.” You could buy a Lamborghini or Bugatti, “without cost.” Your favorite designer stuff, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, or Prada, anything you want, “without cost.” That would be pretty sweet, right?
We know this is nothing more than a dream, though, because everything in life has a cost, whether it costs you money or something else. To get the body you want, you have to workout and eat healthy; there is a cost. To be tan, you have to lay out by the pool and for many, burn your skin just to get a little darker. To become great at a sport, you have to put in the hours of work, struggling just to get a little better day by day.
We know everything great in life comes at a cost. That is...everything except for Jesus. Jesus gave His life for you and I, and we do not have to do anything but accept it. When He defeats Satan and the battle is won, He creates a new heaven on earth. And then He says, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost...”
It is done. The battle is won. What we know is, in the end, Jesus wins. And for us, there is no cost. We need Him. We are thirsty for Him. But He says, “To the thirsty I will give water without cost.” In this world, the things you want will cost you. But what Jesus offers, He paid for. Is there anything greater than eternity in paradise? If you are a believer, that is what you have waiting for you. And it comes without cost.

We closed on our home and property yesterday. 😊
Thank you for all the prayers. God is good. Praise Him and thank you Lord for your son. Who died and paid price. This home is a hefty price but Jesus of the ultimate price for us. Thank you Lord.
