Victory Is On The Horizon

 
“For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and He will give you victory!” - Deuteronomy 20:4 
 
 
Are you waiting for victory in your life? Is there an area or maybe multiple areas of your life where you need God to come through for you? Waiting on God can be one of the toughest things we do. We want Him to work and we want Him to work NOW. But if you have been following Him for any amount of time, you know that God operates on His own schedule. 
 
Whether we like it or not, God is not bound to our timeline. 2 Peter 3:8 says, “But you must not forget this one this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.”  
 
God operates on a completely different timetable than we would like. But that does not mean your day is not coming. As we wait on God, we can grow weary, wondering when, or even if, He is going to do what He promised. Well, you can make no mistake about it. He WILL do all that He has promised. 
  
Deuteronomy 20:4 tells us, “For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and He will give you victory!” That is an assurance, a promise from God that you can claim. It might not be on your schedule. It might not be today, tomorrow, or even next week. But the day is coming. 
 
Victory is on the horizon! God is who He says He is, and He will do what He said He will do. Life may be difficult right now; you may have to wait at times, but your time is coming. And it will be worth it. Keep waiting on the Lord, for your victory is on the horizon!
