Obey Fully
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all His commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God.” - Deuteronomy 28:1-2
As believers, we should be different. God calls us to be different from those of the world. 1 Peter 2:9 tells us, “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.”
God did not make you to be like everyone else. He made you to be different, to be His chosen people so that you can impact others. When you are different, others begin to ask questions: “What is different about him/her?” or “What makes them act like that?” These questions are exactly what you need to be able to gain the attention of nonbelievers and show them the grace and love of God.
But how do you stand out? You must obey God. And it starts with obeying Him FULLY. Deuteronomy 28:1 says, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all His commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.”
The verse tells us that if we obey God, He will set us high above all nations. Do you want to be set above and blessed by God? Obey Him fully…”fully” being the key word. God does not say “obey Me sometimes” or “obey me when you feel like it.” Obeying fully means committing everything to Him and following Him no matter what the cost.
If you want to be set apart and be different from the world, it starts with obedience. Not some of the time, not most of the time, not when you want to. It is FULL obedience all of the time.

Thank you for your word of the day, I am not playing games with God anymore and I really want to be baptized in the holy spirit and commit every thing over to ABBA Father. I am a homeless man who attends the Foxhole ministry church every Saturday and I have step in CBC once to see my friends get baptized but before that I haven't step into a church for 11 months but God bless me with real friends who are lovers of Jesus christ
