His POWER

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.” - 1 Chronicles 29:11

If you have followed along with us the last couple of days, you know that we have been talking about enemies. You know, those people that want to oppose you and keep you from fulfilling God’s plans and purpose for your life.

The thing is that you don’t have to worry about your enemies. They have already lost. When we oppose God, we lose. You cannot be against God and win. So, what we can know is that when we are obedient to Him, He’s got our back. And we will surely be successful.

How can we know that? Two reasons: His POWER and PROMISE. Today we are going to look at the first one, His POWER. The reason we have nothing to worry about is because God’s power is above all things.

1 Chronicles 29:11 says, “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.”

The GREATNESS, the POWER, the GLORY, the VICTORY, and the MAJESTY is HIS. When you are with Him, you have access to greatness, power, glory, and ultimately, VICTORY. The God you serve is more powerful than the circumstances and people you face.

As long as you are remaining obedient and staying within His will, He will take care of the rest. And you can be sure of that because He has the power to do so. God is not some statue that stands there without moving. He is a God who moves and works in our lives. He has the power to do anything He wants.

And you have access to that very power when you pursue Him!
