He Transforms OTHERS
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
What happens when you chase after the heart of God? Transformation. First, God transforms YOU. Then, as you transform, He transforms YOUR LIFE. And as He transforms you and your life, He then uses you to transform OTHERS.
We know that God’s will is for us to become more like Jesus. But why is that? It’s not just for us to walk around isolated. He wants us to show Jesus to OTHERS. Even though we aren’t Jesus, and can’t be perfect like Jesus, what we can do is be the light of Jesus in the lives of those who haven’t experienced Him.
What God does is shines our transformation and the transformation of our lives upon others in a way that makes them ask, “What is different about that person? I want to be like that.” He uses us as a vessel to transform people around us.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Have you ever wondered why God transforms you? First, it is for our good. But it is also for the good of others. Sometimes we have to go through things, not just for ourselves, but so that we can help others who go through similar things.
There is a reason for your transformation. When you chase after the heart of God and pursue Him, He transforms YOU. He transforms YOUR LIFE. And then He uses you to TRANSFORM OTHERS.
