Questioning God's Power
"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" - Matthew 19:26
Why do you question the power of God? While we might not say, "I question God's power," we do often act in ways that would suggest we do. So, let's take a moment to dig deeper. The truth is that we sometimes question God's power, not necessarily through our words, but through our actions and thoughts.
Think about the times you worry, when you allow anxiety to creep into your heart, or when you attempt to minimize the role God can play in your situation. These are unspoken questions about God's power that arise when we think a situation is beyond repair or too complex for divine intervention.
But, my friend, it's essential to remember the power of God. In Matthew 19:26, Jesus tells us, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." These words remind us that no situation is beyond His reach, no challenge is too great for His strength, and no obstacle is insurmountable for His might.
God's power isn't limited by our human understanding. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts surpass our comprehension (Isaiah 55:8-9). When we question His power, we inadvertently limit His ability to work miracles in our lives.
So, what can we do to reaffirm our trust in God's power? It begins with surrender. We must relinquish control and fully place our situations in His capable hands. We need to release our worries, doubts, and anxieties and allow God to work in His way and His time.
As you reflect on your journey of faith, consider those moments when you've questioned God's power, even if just in the quiet corners of your heart. Take the opportunity to replace those questions with trust, surrender, and a profound belief in the unlimited power of our Creator.
Remember, with God, all things are possible. No challenge is too great, no situation too dire, and no obstacle too insurmountable. The power of God is far beyond our understanding, and in trusting it, we discover a limitless source of hope, strength, and victory.
