Blessings in Obedience to God's Will

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11

As we have discussed the last couple days, God gives us a beautiful gift through free will. As human beings, God has given each of us the ability to make choices and decisions for ourselves. However, this does not mean that God doesn’t care what we do. Instead, it’s quite the opposite. While God gives us free will, there is still a path He desires for us to take.

But instead of making us take that path, He gives us the choice to decide whether we want to obey His will or not. The blessings God wants to give, are on the other side of you choosing to obey and pursue His will. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of how perfect His plan is for us.

The verse says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Jeremiah's words echo the heart of God, assuring us that His plans are marked by goodness and hope. God's plans transcend our understanding, leading us toward a future filled with hope. Pursuing His will is not merely an act of obedience but a journey toward the abundant life He desires for us.

Pause and reflect on your current path. Are there areas where God's will calls, yet the allure of alternative routes tempts you? Jeremiah's assurance invites us to trust in God's plans, understanding that blessings flow abundantly when we align our lives with His purpose.

I want to encourage you to seek the Lord for guidance and courage to pursue His will. Ask for a heart attuned to His leading, eager to follow His perfect plan. Surrender any areas where disobedience hinders you from experiencing the fullness of His blessings.

As you journey through life, let the Lord’s will be your compass. Pursue God's will with confidence, knowing that His plans are filled with welfare, hope, and abundant blessings. Embrace the joy that comes from obediently walking in His purpose and allow His perfect plan to unfold in your life.
