From Platform to Pasture

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." - Psalm 23:1-3

In a world obsessed with platforms and popularity, it's easy to chase after success without considering the importance of the process. We desire elevation without cultivation, seeking influence and recognition without understanding the necessity of growth and development. But here's the reality: you can't skip the process.

Imagine a shepherd leading his flock to green pastures. The journey to those lush fields may be long and arduous, but it's essential for the sheep's nourishment and well-being. Similarly, in our own lives, God leads us through seasons of growth and refinement, preparing us for the platforms He has in store.

We may yearn for leadership positions, for influence and recognition, but if we haven't been cultivated and prepared for those roles, we won't be able to sustain them. Like a tree with shallow roots, we may grow tall for a time, but when the storms of life come, we'll be easily uprooted.

God's process of cultivation may not always be easy or glamorous. It often involves trials and challenges that stretch us beyond our comfort zones. But it's through these experiences that we develop the character and resilience needed to thrive in the places of leadership and influence God has prepared for us.

So, instead of rushing to the mountaintop, embrace the journey through the pasture. Allow God to cultivate you, to shape you into the person He created you to be. Trust in His timing and His process, knowing that He is preparing you for the platforms He has in store.

Remember, it's not about the destination; it's about the journey. And when you allow God to lead you through the process, you'll find that His plans for you far exceed anything you could ever imagine. So embrace the process, trust in His guidance, and watch as He leads you to heights you never dreamed possible.
