Seeking Signs
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." - Matthew 7:7
Life is full of decisions—big ones, small ones, and everything in between. And in those moments of uncertainty, it's natural to seek guidance, to ask for a sign that will point us in the right direction. But here's the thing: when we ask God for a sign, He is faithful to answer.
Throughout the Bible, we see countless examples of God giving signs to His people, guiding them, and directing their steps. Whether it's through a burning bush, a dream, or a still, small voice, God communicates with us in ways that are personal, specific, and unmistakable.
But here's the catch: we have to be willing to ask. We have to come to God with an open heart and a willingness to listen, trusting that He will give us the guidance we seek. And when we do, we can have confidence that He will answer, not always in the way we expect or on our timetable, but in His perfect timing and according to His perfect plan.
So, I want to encourage you today to ask God for a sign if you're feeling uncertain or unsure about a decision you need to make. Trust that He sees the bigger picture, knows the desires of your heart, and wants to lead you into His perfect will for your life.
But remember, asking for a sign isn't a magic formula or a guarantee of success. It's simply an act of faith—a declaration of trust in God's wisdom, guidance, and love. And as you seek His direction, be open to receiving His answer, however it may come, and be willing to follow wherever He leads.
Don't be afraid to ask God for a sign. He delights in guiding His children and showing them the way forward. Trust in His faithfulness, and watch as He leads you into the abundant life He has prepared for you.

Thanks for teaching on signs! Not everyone believes God speaks to us through signs. The Experience God bible study did a great job teaching how God speaks to us. And Pastor Ed, you do too! Thank you!
