Time for Change
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. - Isaiah 43:19
Over the last few days, we have been discussing this topic of breakthrough. Sometimes, in order to experience something new, we have to be willing to do something different. It's easy to fall into the trap of routine, doing the same things day in and day out, and then wondering why we're not seeing the change we long for.
But here's the reality: if you want a breakthrough, you can't keep doing the same old things and expect a different result. As the saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.
God is in the business of doing new things. He's constantly at work, making a way where there seems to be no way, and bringing life to barren places. But often, He requires us to step out in faith and embrace change in order to experience the breakthrough He has in store for us.
Maybe that means letting go of old habits or attitudes that have been holding you back. Maybe it means stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new. Or maybe it means surrendering something that has been a part of your life for a long time, trusting that God has something better in store.
Whatever it is, know that God's plans for you are always for your good and His glory. He's not asking you to change just for the sake of change; He's asking you to trust Him and His perfect timing.
As you seek a breakthrough in your life, be open to the possibility that God may be calling you to do something differently. Embrace change with faith and expectancy, knowing that God is faithful to lead you into the abundant life He has promised. And remember, with God, the best is always yet to come.
