Where You Are

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28

One of the biggest misconceptions people have about God is thinking they need to get their life together before coming to Him. Maybe you’ve been there—feeling like you have to fix your mess, clean up your mistakes, and get your act right before God will want anything to do with you. But here’s the truth: you can’t get right without Him, and He’s not waiting for you to figure it all out on your own.

Jesus will meet you right where you are. Whether you’re in the middle of a mess, struggling with doubt, addiction, fear, or shame, He doesn’t ask you to have it all figured out. He doesn’t demand that you clean yourself up before coming to Him. Instead, He invites you to come to Him just as you are, with all your burdens, brokenness, and baggage. He doesn’t shy away from your struggles. He wants to walk with you through them.

Think about the times in your life when you’ve felt distant from God, waiting until you “get it together” to approach Him again. The reality is, if you’re waiting until you’ve fixed everything, you’ll never make it back to Him. But the good news is, you don’t have to wait. Jesus will meet you in the mud, in the chaos, and in every hardship of your life. He will meet you in your lowest moment and lead you out of it. You don’t have to have all the answers or be perfect to come to Him.

God isn’t just there for the good times, the moments when you feel like you have it all together. He’s there for you in the mess, in the struggle, and in the pain. He’s ready to walk with you through every trial, and He wants to be by your side in the middle of it all. All you have to do is let Him in. Stop waiting for the perfect moment, and let God meet you right where you are today.

Trust that He will be with you through every step, every hardship, and every uncertainty. Let Him be your guide, your strength, and your comfort. He’s already waiting. Are you ready to let Him in?
