Trusting His Deliverance

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” (Psalm 46:10)

As we continue through this series of Revelation, we have spent much time talking about the inevitable victory of Jesus Christ. Satan and his demons will have their moment where it will appear as if the destruction they have caused will lead to the end, but ultimately, God will prevail.

This is exciting news! And it is not just available to believers in the end times, it is true for you and I today. See, God is going to prevail in our lives even now. But there is one thing we have to do, and that is, we have to trust Him. It might seem simple, but it is much easier said than done.

When things don’t look good, and there is no solution in sight, it is not always easy to trust, because that trust forces you to believe in something you cannot see in the moment. Later on, we wonder why didn’t I trust God sooner? But it is much more difficult in that moment when the answer isn’t readily available. This is exactly how God wants it to be.

He wants you to trust Him when the circumstances don’t make sense. When it seems irrational or crazy, that is when God loves to show up. He proves that in Revelation, after the demons have made a mess of the earth, and He comes to bring judgment and restore order. It looks as though Satan is winning, and all seems to be lost, but that is when Jesus will come to save the day.

He will do it in the end times, but He will also do it now in your life. You might feel down and out, like you are running on borrowed time and the end is near. But I am here to tell you friend, when all seems lost, God shows up. But you must trust Him. He wants to know that you are counting on Him. Trust His deliverance and expect victory, because God always wins!
