Steal, Kill, and Destroy
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
When you study Revelation 17, you will find a counterfeit Jesus. This is what the anti-Christ is. After three and a half years of the tribulation, the anti-Christ will devour every bit of the world church. The Scripture would say it would devour the world church and set it on fire, taking everything and making it his own possession.
But if the anti-Christ burns down the church, how will these people turn and follow him? Well, the anti-Christ will at first be a world leader, a political figure, that attempts to bring the world together. Then, opposite of Jesus, as the counterfeit version, the anti-Christ will fake his own death and then be “resurrected” in order to have the people turn and follow him.
When he comes back from the dead, he will become the sole ruling power. But here is what you need to understand — everything Satan and the anti-Christ do is leading up to devour you. John 10:10 already tells us this, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”
So many people have a false sense that when you give your life to Jesus, you are giving up being happy and turning your back on the things you like to do, but that is just not true. When you give your life to Satan, and do the worldly things the Bible speaks against because it, “feels good,” you are running towards a life of death. Because sin leads to death. Satan and the anti-Christ come to steal, kill, and destroy you.
They want to steal your happiness, steal your impact, steal your destiny. They want to kill you. They want to kill you spiritually, so your life is of little worth, and as you veer away from God, you die without doing anything significant. They want to destroy you. But Jesus came that you can have life, and have it to the full.
Everything you truly want in life, the things you really desire, God will give you. You just must align what you want with what He wants and your life will be full! You choose: are you going to follow the beast who comes to destroy, or the Lord who will give you life to its fullest measure?
