Embracing Your Design

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." - Psalm 139:14

My friend, I want you to understand something today: God did not make a mistake when He created you. Often, our insecurities and perceived limitations make us question our worth and potential. Today's message draws inspiration from the story of Ehud in Judges chapter 3, emphasizing how God can work marvelously in the spaces we consider weaknesses but are, in reality, our strengths.

It's a common human experience to grapple with insecurities and inadequacies, questioning what God could possibly do with our perceived limitations. The truth is that God specializes in turning what we see as weaknesses into avenues for His strength to shine.

The narrative of Ehud in Judges chapter 3 unfolds with the people of Israel doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord. Despite their shortcomings, God did not abandon them. Instead, He strengthened the king of Moab against Israel to bring about a transformative purpose.

Ehud, often seen as limited due to his physical condition, became an unlikely instrument in God's hands. His perceived weakness became the very strength that God utilized to defeat Israel's adversaries and take possession of the city of Palms.

Reflect on your own insecurities and perceived limitations. Know that God's design for you is intentional, and He can work wonders in the spaces you may consider weaknesses. Like Ehud, your perceived limitations can become strengths when surrendered to God.

Embrace the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Trust that God's purpose for your life extends beyond what you perceive as limitations. As you surrender your weaknesses to Him, watch how God can turn them into strengths for His glory and the fulfillment of His transformative purposes in your life.
