Going All In
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." - Proverbs 16:3
Imagine for a moment what your life could look like if you went all in on God's plan for your life. Picture it: six months from now, a year from now, two years from now. Will you look back with satisfaction, knowing that you pursued God's very best for your life? Or will you look back with regret, wishing you had chosen differently?
It's a challenging question, isn't it? Because the truth is, we all have a choice to make. We can either follow our own desires, our own plans, our own ambitions—or we can commit to following God's leading, trusting that His plans for us are far greater than anything we could ever imagine.
Pursuing God's best requires courage, commitment, and sacrifice. It means stepping out in faith, even when the path ahead is uncertain. It means letting go of our own desires and trusting that God's ways are higher, His plans are perfect, and His timing is impeccable.
I want to challenge you today to consider where you want to be a year from now. Will you be content with the status quo, settling for what seems good in the moment? Or will you choose to pursue God's very best for your life, even if it means stepping out of your comfort zone and trusting Him to lead you into the unknown?
It's a decision only you can make. But I want to encourage you to choose wisely. Choose to go all in on God's plan for your life. Choose to trust Him with your hopes, your dreams, and your future. And as you do, watch as He establishes your plans and leads you into the abundant life He has prepared for you.
The choice is yours. Will you settle for what seems good, or will you pursue God's very best for your life? The decisions you make today will shape the trajectory of your future. So, choose wisely, and trust that God's plans for you are far greater than anything you could ever imagine.

Pastor Ed, I struggle with understanding what this looks like. How do I know when I'm choosing Gods best? What does this look like for me in regards to work and the biggest area I'm facing challenges in, my relationship that has been so very difficult but this year the Holy Spirit has shown himself to us many times and our relationship is improving tremendously. I don't know what He's trying to tell me. I'm trying to be still and hear more from Him and I usually have good discernment but not in my relationship. Sometimes I feel like I may misapply "going all in" because he and I talked about going all in with our relationship to move towards marriage and putting God first this time around before these "going all in" services at church happened. I'm standing still until He gives me clarity but God knows I'm stubborn and will wait until He makes a loud and undeniable statement directly to me where I can't deny that it's His voice.
