Getting Out of the Way

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" - Psalm 46:10

Are you praying for a miracle? Are you seeking God's intervention in a situation that seems beyond human control? It's natural to cry out to God in times of need, but sometimes, we hinder the very miracles we're praying for by trying to do everything in our own strength.

Too often, we pray for a miracle, but then we fail to let God work. We hold on to control, trying to orchestrate outcomes according to our own understanding. We act as if we're the only ones who can solve the problem, forgetting that God is sovereign and mighty to save.

If you find yourself in this position, it's time to get out of the way and let God do what only He can do. Surrender your plans, your fears, and your doubts to Him, and trust in His perfect timing and wisdom. Step back and be still before Him, acknowledging His sovereignty and power.

Getting out of the way doesn't mean being passive or complacent. It means releasing your grip on the situation and allowing God to work in His way and His time. It means aligning your will with His and submitting to His divine plan, even when it doesn't make sense to you.

As you surrender your plans and desires to God, trust that He is working behind the scenes, orchestrating His perfect will for your life. Have faith that He is able to do immeasurably more than you could ask or imagine and be prepared to witness the miraculous works of His hand.

If you're praying for a miracle today, I encourage you to get out of the way and let God do what only He can do. Release control, trust in His sovereignty, and watch as He moves mountains on your behalf. For when we get out of the way, God's power is unleashed, and miracles happen.
