Your Story Isn’t Over
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28
There are moments in life when it feels like the story is over, when something so painful or difficult happens that you wonder if this is the end for you. You think, “How could anything good come from this?” But what if God is not only going to redeem that situation but also use it to impact the lives of others in ways you never expected?
God has a way of taking what seems broken and hopeless and transforming it into something beautiful. The truth is, He never wastes a single experience, no matter how messy or painful it might be. What feels like the end could very well be the beginning of something incredible. Your story, especially the parts that feel like failure or loss, can be used by God to bring hope and healing to others.
You never know how God will use your journey to impact someone else. What if the very thing you’re walking through now is the testimony that someone else needs to hear? What if God is using your story to show His grace, His faithfulness, and His power to redeem? Sometimes the greatest impact you’ll have won’t come from the victories, but from how God carried you through the valleys.
God isn’t limited by your circumstances. He can use the darkest parts of your story to shine His light into someone else’s life. In fact, the very situation you think is the end might be the catalyst for someone else’s breakthrough. You may never know who is watching, who is being encouraged by your faithfulness, and who will come to know God more deeply because of how He works through your story.
So, don’t give up. Don’t assume that your story ends in defeat just because things didn’t go the way you hoped. God is still writing it. He can take what looks like a loss and turn it into a victory—not just for you, but for those around you. When you surrender your story to God, He can use it in ways you never imagined, and you’ll discover that the impact reaches far beyond your own life.
Trust that God is not finished with you. Your story isn’t over. It’s being woven into something greater, something that will point others to Him and His redemptive power. Let Him use your story for His glory and watch how He impacts the lives of those around you through it.

Thank you Ed. The service was great as usual yesterday. I don’t recommend anyone take the path I did. God came to me in a way so strong I couldn’t deny His presence any longer in my life about 4 years ago. About 9 months in to the best experience I’ve ever had I still messed up. Many horrible things happened. Everyone I knew abandoned me. Even hated me. I was on the outside of haven for hope courtyard not even able to enter it with an ankle monitor on my leg. But what’s so crazy is that God never left me throughout it all. He let me fall but He didn’t let me actually die. It seemed like He wanted to show me who really cared and mattered. It was Him. Since then He has used every single thing it seems to place me in a position to succeed. To be useful. My dependence shifted from other people to God. And yes through Jesus Christ. He is alive and well. Last year in June I hit a bad spot and I called out to Jesus. He told me “this I don’t do for you, but for My names sake.” Within a month my entire life transformed. Reunited with my wife and kids. Work took off. Full of friends and purpose. Divine direction. It was like I had angels flying on both my shoulders. I went to make amends to an old employee of mine. Turns out she had stage 3 cancer. I was directed to fast and pray for her. Ed, she no longer has cancer. Wow man. You know it’s just been crazy. Every amends I was directed to to do it ended up being someone who needed my help instead of fixing any issue I had created. God is amazing and I know I have so much to say on all these. I hope that others may comment and share their stories here too.
