Given By God

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7

Has God placed something on your heart that you have avoided? Maybe you are “kicking the can down the road,” so to speak? So often, we think of big dreams or plans we have, and we hear messages about maybe that isn’t what God has in mind for us. Someone will say something to discourage our dreams or expectations.

But what about the reverse – are your plans and expectations for yourself as big as God’s are for you? Sometimes, God has things He wants to do in our lives that He is just waiting for us to own and accept.

This does not mean He is just going to hand them to us on a silver platter. You still might have to work for them and pursue His will in order to receive all that He has planned for you. But what if you don’t even pursue His will?  

Listen, sometimes we have dreams and aspirations that are big but selfish. We want them only for our own personal gain. But other times we might have dreams and aspirations that are big... that were GIVEN TO US BY GOD.  

Yet, for some reason, we feel unworthy of something so great. We think we must be confused, or we are misunderstanding Him. “There is no way God wants little ole’ me to do something this big.”

I’m here to tell you today, HE DOES. That passionate dream you have boiling inside of you isn’t there by coincidence. That was given to you by God! And He wants you to use it for His glory! It is time to step into the life God created you for. You ARE meant for this. He made you specifically for it. Chase it and follow Him every step of the way!
