He Sees Everything
“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” - Proverbs 15:3
If you have been following along with us, you know we have been talking about receiving God’s ultimate blessing. The will of God is His perfect plan poured out in our lives. When we are obedient, we can experience the will of God and all that He has in store for us.
But how do we know that God’s plan is best? Why should we follow His will over our own desires? Well, there are three great reasons you should choose God’s way over your own way.
The first reason is because He sees everything.
Proverbs 15:3 says, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Then in Hebrews 4:13, the Apostle Paul writes, “And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Think about a young child running out into the street, only looking straight ahead of them. But their parent, who is backed up and can see the entire road, notices a car is coming, quickly. The parent tells the child to get out of the road. The child doesn’t understand why. They don’t see anything and plus they just want to play in the road. What is the harm in that?
Now you see this as a silly proposition. Obviously, the child should listen to their parent. But how is that any different than you choosing not to listen to God? He sees EVERYTHING. God sees your past and present, but He also sees your future. He knows what is coming up ahead long before you do.
If God can see everything, don’t you think He knows better than you?
