God is in The Details
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in His way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.” - Psalm 37:23-24
As God prepares you to do His perfect will and purpose and gives you the opportunities you need, He will take care of every little detail you are worried about.
Sometimes, as followers of Christ, we gain clarity about what His plan is for our lives. We can get so excited that God has shown us what He wants us to do. We think about how it’s really big, and this is going to change the world. And all that is AMAZING.
But then we start thinking about the details...that is where our faith can get shaken. We start worrying about the parts that we don’t know. When we tell others about God’s plan with great excitement, they don’t share that same excitement.
Instead, they might have questions. They wonder about this or that. They ask, “Have you thought about this?” Those questions can be hard and even intimidating. But don’t let a lack of answers derail you from chasing God’s plan and purpose.
The truth of the matter is that God will take care of it all. Psalm 37:23-24 says, “The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in His way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.”
God is in the details. He didn’t give you a calling without having it all figured out. From the beginning, He knew exactly what He was asking you to do, and exactly how He (and you) will do it.
Your job is to do what He has asked you to do, and let God handle the rest. He is more than capable. Do not lose faith just because you don’t have it all figured out. Give your worries to Him and remember, God is in the details!
