Trusting God with Your Dreams
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4
Close your eyes for a moment and envision your dreams. They may be big or small, near or far, but they hold a special place in your heart. Now, imagine entrusting those dreams to the loving hands of God. What would that look like to trust God with your dreams and embrace His perfect plan for your life?
Trusting God with your dreams begins with seeking alignment with His will. It's about surrendering your desires to His divine purpose, knowing that His plans for you are far greater than anything you could ever imagine. So, ask yourself: Do you trust God with your dreams?
Trusting God with your dreams involves releasing the need for control and surrendering to His timing. It's recognizing that He knows the perfect season for each dream to come to fruition. In the waiting, He is molding your character, preparing you, and refining your dreams to align with His purpose.
Additionally, trusting God with your dreams requires faith in His provision. It's acknowledging that He is your ultimate source of guidance, wisdom, and resources. As you trust Him, He will open doors, provide opportunities, and connect you with the right people to bring your dreams to life.
Trusting God with your dreams also means embracing resilience and perseverance. It's understanding that the journey toward your dreams may involve challenges, setbacks, and detours. But through it all, you can trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
With all of this in mind, my prayer is that you will let Psalm 37:4 resonate in your heart: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust God with your dreams, align them with His will, and delight in His presence. As you seek Him, you will find that your desires are shaped and fulfilled according to His perfect plan.
As you pursue your dreams, trust in God's guidance, provision, and timing. Delight yourself in Him, and watch as He unfolds a journey beyond your wildest imagination. Trusting God with your dreams is an invitation to experience the fulfillment, purpose, and joy that can only come from walking in step with Him.

As a child I inky has two dreams: flying in a helicopter and an airplane. i’ve done both and flown all over the world, six continents to be exact. Then when our 4 children arrived, my biggest dream was to see them living for Christ and I’m waiting, watching and worshipping Him as He’s at work. And lastly, after sensing his call to write a book the dream came true even though I didn’t feel I was smart enough, had enough, people in the writing world knew more than I did and that God wrote the best book of all time. I was writing it even when I couldn’t see it. Only God. and at 70, thinking there could be another book in the making. He’s done far more than I could have ever hoped or imagined. “I (we) will triump at the works of his hands,” (Psalms 92:4).
