Growing Every Day
"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." - 2 Corinthians 3:18
Life is a journey of growth, of transformation, of becoming more like Christ with each passing day. But here's the thing: that journey never ends. As long as we're on this earth, God is always at work in our lives, teaching us, shaping us, and helping us grow.
It's easy to think that once we've overcome a particular trial or learned a certain lesson, we've reached some sort of finish line. But the truth is, there's always more. More to learn, more to experience, more to become.
You see, God's desire for us goes far beyond mere comfort or success. His ultimate goal is for us to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. And that process of transformation doesn't happen overnight—it's a lifelong journey of surrender, of obedience, of becoming more like Christ in every area of our lives.
So, as you navigate the ups and downs of life, as you face trials and tribulations, remember this: God is using every experience, every circumstance, to mold you into the person He created you to be. He's not finished with you yet; He's just getting started.
While it may be tempting to resist the hard times and to long for a life of ease and comfort, I want to encourage you to embrace the journey. Embrace the process of growth, of transformation, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.
Don't be discouraged when the trials come or when the lessons seem hard to learn. Instead, press into God's presence, lean into His grace, and allow Him to do His work in your life.
Remember, as long as you're on this earth, there will always be more to learn, more to experience, more to become. And ultimately, that's a beautiful thing—because it means that God is always at work in your life, shaping you into the person He created you to be.
So, keep growing. Keep pressing forward. And trust that God has amazing things in store for you as you continue on this journey of becoming more like Christ every day.
