Standing Strong in Obedience

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." - Galatians 6:7

Remaining obedient to God can be challenging, especially when those around us mock our faith or question our choices. Yet, we are called to stand strong and remain faithful, trusting that God-s promises are true.

When you choose to follow God's path, you may face ridicule or pressure from those who don't understand your faith. They might say, "Why are you waiting on God? Just do what everyone else is doing." This can be especially difficult when God's rewards seem delayed. But remember, God is not mocked. Whatever you sow in faith and obedience, you will eventually reap.

Noah experienced this firsthand. As he built the ark, he faced constant ridicule from those who saw no reason to prepare for a flood. His obedience seemed absurd to them, but Noah trusted God and continued his work. When the rains came, Noah's faith was vindicated, and he and his family were saved.

Your obedience, though it may be questioned or mocked, is a powerful testimony to your faith. It demonstrates your trust in God's plan and your commitment to His ways, even when the rewards are not immediately visible. This steadfast faith is what pleases God and brings about His blessings in your life.

When others question your faith, respond with love and patience, but do not waver in your commitment to God. Remember Galatians 6:7, "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." Your obedience is sowing seeds that will, in due time, bring forth a harvest of blessings.

Stay strong in your faith and obedience, knowing that God sees your efforts and will honor them. Do not give in to the voices that say God has not rewarded you yet, so you might as well give up. Trust that He is faithful, and His promises are true. Your obedience will be rewarded in ways that far surpass any temporary satisfaction the world can offer.

God's blessings may not come immediately, but they are certain. Stand firm, remain obedient, and trust in His perfect timing. Your faithfulness will not go unnoticed, and in due season, you will reap the rewards of your obedience.

Very simple, but extraordinarily powerful.

n"DO THE NEXT RIGHT THING"

nContinue to be obedient and stand strong in our faith. We will then happily reap what we sow. Reality check, we will fail at times, and when we do, confess our failure to God with a broken heart and keep on keepin' on.

n[1 John 1:9]
