God-Given Dreams

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4  
  
Have you ever wondered if the dreams in your heart are really from God? Sometimes we think that what we truly want for our lives isn’t aligned with God’s plan, as if our deepest desires and God’s will are somehow at odds. But what if the very dreams that fill your heart were put there by God Himself?

When you’re living in obedience to God and seeking His will, those dreams and desires aren’t just random thoughts or selfish ambitions. They’re often gifts from God, planted deep within you because He wants you to pursue them.  

God delights in seeing His children chase after the dreams He’s placed in their hearts. Your dreams aren’t something to be dismissed, they are a part of His bigger plan for your life.
 
So often, we assume that following God means giving up what we really want, that somehow His plan will be the opposite of what we hope for. But if you’re aligned with Him, those dreams and passions can actually be His way of guiding you toward your purpose. He gives you these desires not to frustrate you, but to encourage you to chase after something that will bring both you and Him joy.  

Of course, this doesn’t mean every dream is fulfilled instantly or in the way we expect. But as you walk in obedience and trust Him, He’ll lead you toward those dreams in His timing. The waiting and refining process is often a part of how He prepares you for what’s ahead. Don’t let fear or doubt keep you from pursuing what’s in your heart. If God has put a dream there, it’s worth the chase.
 
Remember, God wants to do more than just bless you, He wants to partner with you in fulfilling the dreams He’s placed in you. Your dreams aren’t obstacles to overcome in your spiritual walk. They are often the very path God has laid out for you to walk in faith, trusting that He will guide you toward them in His perfect way.

Don’t let go of the dreams God has given you. Pursue them with boldness, knowing that they are gifts from Him. Trust that He has a plan and that He’s with you every step of the way as you chase after what He has placed in your heart.
