Death Is A Doorway
“I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed. And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God” (Revelation 15:1-2)
Death. It is something many people avoid giving thought to. Unless the rapture takes place during our lifetime, it is something that is inevitably coming for all of us. It is inescapable. But the good news is, death is not the end. Death is just a doorway to a new beginning.
When you choose Christ, you join in conquering Satan. The word “nikaeo hypernikomen” that appears in today’s original text means we are super conquerors. It is where we get the Greek word, “Nike” meaning conquering or victorious. We are victorious not because of the fact that we are almighty, but because God is almighty and Jesus is our Savior. It is a reminder that every tribulation you will ever face in your life will always be beneath your feet because God will always lift you up through the fiery furnace, and you will stand on the other side.
Remember, God gets the final say. As followers of Jesus, death never has the final say. Satan does not have any grip or hold on us because death is not our final destination. See, death is not a dead end. Death is a doorway.
As a believer, you do not have to fear death. Because death is just a doorway to heaven. Philippians 1:21 says, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” What does this mean, to die is gain? It is a whole different way of thinking. Because we are not made for this earth, we are made to be in heaven with our Heavenly Father. That is where we will spend eternity. My friend, death is just a doorway, to a place far greater than you could ever imagine!

Our Father is so amazing!! He knows what we need when we need it. I needed this assurance today.
Once again, you use the term "rapture". Are YOU using rapture in place of resurrection?
No where in the Bible can this term be found, yet many believe there will be individual people raptured
one at a time. I have yet to find proof in the Bible about this happening. I have found this in the
Bible, " the dead in Christ shall rise first". And, " we which are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...".
Am I missing some scripture about there being a "rapture" ? Please send me the Bible texts.
Thank you!
