Bring God
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7
Do you have peace in your life? Do you live a life that is worry-free? If not, it could be that you are trying to do it all on your own. We have spent the last week or so talking about obedience to God. When you are obedient, you have nothing to worry about. Because when you obey God, He takes responsibility for all your needs.
Philippians 4:6-7 puts it this way... “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
When you bring God into every situation in your life, you will have the type of peace that surpasses all understanding. The reason many believers struggle with anxiety, nervousness, and worry is because they have compartmentalized God.
They are quick to turn to God on Sunday morning at church and pray to Him before they fall asleep at night. But what about throughout the day? What about in the midst of daily tasks or regular occurrences? God is not meant to only be a part of certain aspects of your life. He should be a part of everything you do, every relationship you have, and every experience you come across.
If you want to experience real peace in your life, bring God with you. It doesn’t matter what the setting is or who the people involved are. Life will go better when you bring God to the forefront and let Him lead the way.
