You Just Have To Ask

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7

Yesterday, we talked about God-given dreams. There are times when we have selfish dreams that are only to benefit us, and those are the ones we want to avoid. But there are other times when God has placed a burning passion inside our hearts, and He gave us that burning passion because He wants us to use it for His glory.

That path to chasing God’s will might just be the greatest journey you ever take in your life. Though He never promises it will always be easy (it won’t be), He does promise to always be with you. And that is the best part. God is not asking you to go at it alone. He is there for you, and He is ready to help!

Matthew 7:7 says, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”  

See, God knows that along this journey, you will need things. He has made you and equipped you to know and learn what you must do and what you will need in order to do what He is calling you to do. All you have to do is ask!  

God wants to be a part of your journey. In fact, He wants all that you accomplish to point back to Him. That is your ultimate purpose. And because of that, He will give you what you need.  

If you are in the midst of chasing God’s will for your life, do not hesitate to ask Him for help. It’s what He wants! You will go through times when you are in need and the only One that can help you is Him. If He called you to do it, He will make a way.  

When you are in need, ASK! He will provide for you.
