Does He Have You?
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me.” - Revelation 3:20
If you have been following along with us, the last few days we have been talking about how God’s got us. He’s got us in many ways, but what this means when He says, “I got you,” is that He will take care of us. He will help us through life’s most difficult challenges, and He will be there when we need Him most.
We have looked at three ways God’s got us: we are no longer slaves to sin, no longer crippled by confusion, and no longer forsaken. As believers, we are children of God, and He takes full responsibility for our lives.
But the question is, have you made that choice? Have you given your life to Christ? When you give your life to Jesus, He’s got you, but only after you have made that choice. If you haven’t, then unfortunately, none of this applies to you.
While He holds His children in His hands, He does not presume the same responsibility for those who have not chosen Him.
But there is good news! He is ready to accept ANYONE who wants to choose Him. Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me.”
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, what are you waiting for? He is knocking. He is ready to come into your life. He’s ready to say, “Son... daughter... I GOT YOU.”
But He will only do so for those who have chosen Him. Does He have you?
